Our customer inherited this house but initially had no idea the problem he had inherited the house. This large home has a massive and very tight crawlspace that was also full of water and moisture. The owner, well versed in construction and home health, called us to come and repair and encapsulate the crawlspace. This home is very expansive and many of the places were exceptionally tight, but this was not too much for our crew.
Solution
In order to get this job done in a timely manner, two crews worked together to tackle this job. Parts of this crawlspace were so shallow our teams dug some areas out as they pulled out the insulation. In the way, the home there were two low spots so our crew installed two sump pumps to handle the excessive ground water under the home and an elaborate pipe system to ensure that everything was collected and properly routed. In order to run the pipes the street to remove the water, the crew custom built a pipeline to run from the dehumidifier to the drainage line to get it out to the street properly.
