Keep the Pooling Water where it Belongs, in the Pool!

WATER UNDER YOUR HOME SHOULD NOT BE SEEN AS 'NORMAL'

Flooded crawlspace

MOISTURE AND WATER UNDER THE HOME IS A BAD SIGN

Do you like swimming?  If you do, you probably wouldn't want to do it in your basement or crawlspace.  With all the rain that frequents the PNW your basement and crawlspace shouldn't turn into a swimming pool.  Don't wait until it floods to get it looked at.  If you have a basement you can probably tell fairly quickly if you are having water intrusion.

But how often do you go down in your crawlspace?  Probably not very much.  Why would you it's not necessarily "The Place" to hang out.  Unless you want to make friends or have tea with the bugs, mold and dirt that is probably down there.  Just because you don't see it does not mean it does not affect you.  "Out of sight out of mind" should not apply when it comes to your crawlspace or basement.  It's your health were talking about!  You don't see airborne particles but they still have health effects, you don't always notice mold, but boy does it affect your health!

Finished Crawlspace

You probably clean up the mold you can see, but how often do you crawl down under your house to inspect for it?  Did you know 50% of the air you breath comes from you crawlspace?  You are breathing in those spores!  It's the perfect environment for it, it's moist.  Now you add a pool down there and you're talking rotting posts which turn into costly repairs.  Why not prevent all those issues?

You can do that by encapsulating your crawlspace with CleanSpace.  Cleanspace is a thick 20 mil vapor barrier that along with the drain system and sump pump will keep your crawlspace dry, but wait... not just dry, healthy as well!
