Carolann has worked in Waterproofing for over 15 years as co-owner of a roofing/waterproofing business in San Diego. This gave her extensive knowledge of water intrusion and resultant damage. When she learned of issues of mold/mildew in crawlspaces and basements, she was excited to be part of a team dedicated to eradicating a problem that nearly took her life in 1999 and had made her infant grandson terribly ill in 2004.
With her many years of experience with Waterproofing and other related construction experience, John knew she could be a valuable asset to his team. In addition, her experience as a former realtor gives her an insight into what this group needs.
When Carolann is not working she enjoys spending time with her four children and two grandchildren. She loves outdoor activities such as; camping, fishing, and hiking and when at home loves to cook.
Carolann enjoys meeting with homeowners and helping them solve their basement water problems, enabling them to get more out of their homes. Her friends refer to her as the consummate caregiver. She loves to problem solve and see others enjoy the fruits of her work.
This crawlspace was full of water, mud, falling insulation and rotting posts. Our team came in and encapsulated the space, replaced rotten wood posts with our patented Smart Jacks to ensure they would never have to deal with wood rot again. They will finish the job with spray foam insulation on the walls and this homeowner will have a clean, dry, and healthy space.
This before and after shows that process of applying Spray Foam insulation to the walls of the crawlspace after Cleanspace is installed. Insulation is not needed on the sub-floor because the Spray foam on the walls is working with the cleanspace to encapsulate, waterproof, and insulate. They work better together than apart! Spray Foam is closed-celled so it will not allow water to collect or stick to it.
Customer is a realtor looking to sell house at top notch condition
Customer called with an interest in waterproofing his basement. We installed a super sump and our patented WaterGuard system with a discharge line. That ensures he will not have to worry about basement flooding. We also installed ThermalDry wall that will help keep his walls from moisture and keep heat in.
The customer found us on our website to have their crawl space encapsulated due to not having any form of protection.
So many times we meet and talk to realtors and homeowners that are just looking to quickly get their house sold and need their house to pass code. This is a great example of a replacement vapor barrier ready for home sale.

BrightWall panels transform damp, ugly, unfinished basement walls into a bright, beautiful and maintenance free basement. BrightWalls are waterproof, stain resistant and easy to clean. They never need paint and act as an effective moisture and vapor barrier. They work with the Waterguard perimeter drain by directing wall seepage to it so it can keep it out of the basement space.
The SaniDry XP is a self-draining dehumidifier and removes up to 10x the moisture of a standard unit. It creates clean, dry air and reduces the risk of mold growth.
The Cleanspace wall system is used for basements and is designed to effectively act as a moisture and vapor barrier. It is inexpensive, waterproof, stain resistant, and easy to clean which means that it is basically maintenance free! It works by capturing wall seepage and leaks and directing that water to the Waterguard perimeter drain.
Paraseal is installed on the exterior walls of the new basement before it is back-filled in order to prevent any water intrusion in the future.
This customer called with water intrusion with visible flooding in her basement. We installed our patented WaterGuard system along the perimeter of the basement.
Here is new construction that we waterproofed starting with Paraseal. Paraseal is a multi-layer sheet membrane consisting of a self-sealing, expandable layer of bentonite offering superior protection to your foundation and walls.
