This older building had some very old wiring in it. It had become a fire hazard and to get it upgraded, they called up John's Waterproofing. Our electrical division went out and ran new electrical lines through the building, and updated the outlets. The system is much safer now and we even added a four new outlets that the owners wanted installed. 

We have done a lot of work in Saint Benedict, and they called us up this time for a water heater replacement from our plumbing division. Their old one was having some issues and it also was accompanied by some high monthly costs. After doing some research, they learned about the energy savings that accompany new water heaters, and decided to go forward with an overall upgrade. Our plumbing division arrived and turned off the water. They then removed the old water heater and brought in the new one. It was set up, the systems connected and water turned on. We checked all of the work and once satisfied, this project was done. 

A slope on a driveway towards a garage door can become a direct track for water to enter the garage. This space had such an issue, and water would sit along the garage door entrance and flood when heavy rains came in. To keep the garage safe, the homeowners wanted to find a solution so water would go away from this space. They had seen John's Waterproofing trucks often, and called us up for a solution. 

Our install crew arrived and dug a trench at the bottom of the slope next to the garage door, here we installed a TrenchDrain, this will collect all water, and grade it to the side of the building where we installed a drainage system to send the water well away from the home. The garage now stays dry and healthy! 

The kitchen in this building was a bit outdated, and they were ready for a change. They had purchased a large new sink, and would need to move the plumbing to a new location to make it work. Since we had worked on this building before, they called us up for our plumbing division. Our plumbers turned off the water and had the plumbing lines moved and set up to the new location. The new sink had been placed already so it was quick and easy for our licensed plumbers to hook it all up and have it running. All water was turned back on and lines were double checked. With no issues our plumbers headed out. 

This home had a down spout that extended over their entryway sidewalk. While this was keeping the water out and away from the foundation, it was a tripping hazard. The homeowners were used to this, but it was worrisome whenever they had elderly family members visit. Eventually they decided they wanted to find a solution that would properly address this tripping hazard. To handle this, they reached out to John's Waterproofing. 

Our crew arrived and extended the downspout into the ground and ran a pipe underground to take the downspout water safely out and away from the home. This now has the water being dumped out via a LawnScape outlet. The homeowners are thrilled with the upgrade and happy to know their home is safe. 

As an old home settles, it is common for minor cracks to appear, and this can make an easy avenue for water to creep through. This home had a few cracks showing up along the bottom of the foundation walls, and the homeowners noticed a damp and musky smell emanating around the cracks. The homeowners wanted to get this issue solved before it worsened, so they called in John's Waterproofing. 

Our crew arrived and began by setting up a drainage system. This included a WaterGuard drainage system along with the interior parameter. This would collect the groundwater and divert it towards a newly installed TripleSafe sump pump. We also sealed up the cracks and installed BrightWall panels on the foundation walls to divert water from the walls down and into the drainage system to keep this home dry and healthy. 

This home's basement had a condensation issue. The egress windows had moisture build upon them, and the walls below were damp to the touch. To regain control over the basement's environment, the homeowners called in John's Waterproofing. 

Our crew began by replacing the old egress windows and updating them while properly sealing them up so water moisture wouldn't be getting in. We then installed a WaterGaurd drainage system around the interior perimeter that would collect water and divert it to a SuperSump pump and then out and away from the home to a LawnScape outlet. The walls then had out CleanSpace vapor barrier sealed along with them. This would allow any moisture content on the walls to go down the wall the drainage system and out of the basement itself. Finally, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to ensure that the moisture content in the air would keep the home dry and healthy for the homeowners.
