Water and debris were all over this crawlspace and causing problems. We replaced the vapor barrier and installed a Smart Sump pump so that water won't be an issue anymore.

This customer called because her crawlspace had suffered damage from pests getting in. They ripped up her vapor barrier, fiberglass insulation, and her ductwork. Our crew went out and removed all the debris from the crawlspace from all the torn up vapor barrier and insulation and any other organic debris. This customer opted out of having an encapsulation done we still do 6 mils vapor barrier replacements. The customer was happy that our crew was quick and left no mess behind. She loved how clean her crawlspace looked after all the damage it had experienced.

Basement Remodeling in Forest Grove, OR

Waterproofing your basement prevents outside water from coming in but what if a pipe bursts or the water heater leaks inside the home. A newly remodeled basement done by your average contractor will mold and rot if there is an internal leak. You'll have to tear out your new basement! We fix this issue.

Our Products Include:
  • Waterproof, washable, insulated walls
  • Mold-Resistant, No-Sag suspended ceiling
  • Modular carpet, tile & faux wood flooring

  • Energy-efficient, double-paned basement windows
  • Attractive Sunhouse basement window wells
  • French, bifold, louvre & six-paneled steel doors
Unlike the average Forest Grove contractor we use completely inorganic, waterproof materials. Even if the basement floods your walls and floors will not be damaged by the water. These waterproof products are patented and are built to create an attractive basement that lasts a lifetime.

Job Stories From Forest Grove, OR
Crawl Space, Forest Grove, OR

John needed his crawl space evaluated to determine what it would take to mitigate the moisture issues that were happening. Senior Design Specialist, Vinny was out in a few days and after the evaluation suggested having Jeremy encapsulate the crawl space. John was glad to hear there was a feasible solution and went ahead and agreed to have this done.

After drying out the crawl space with a SaniDry Sedona, Jeremy and his crew installed a SuperSump Plus, the CleanSpace vapor barrier, and then Fernando came in and put in the Spray Foam insulation.

John's crawl space moisture issues are gone. He is happy with the results and with knowing that his home is taken care of.

Partial Basement; Forest Grove, OR

Rachel and Cameron had a basement that was partially finished. It was a blank canvas, that had started to collect water from the foundation walls. So they sought out to find someone that would finish their space and waterproof it all at once. They decided upon Johns Waterproofing Company

The couple gave us a call and set up an appointment date and set out to fix the problem finally. Timothy and his crew went out and installed WaterGuard. Which is a basement waterproofing system that intercepts the water, and drains it away unseen. It drains all the collected water into the SuperSump pump. Which then carries it out of the basement from the discharge pipe. Leaving the basement dry and healthy.

Ensuring Rachel and Cameron that their space will be usable. So that they may finally use it as a gathering room and storage once again without worry of water damage.

Smart Vents Slash Home Owners Insurance

Like so many other houses in our area, this crawlspace was full of small puddles of water and very high moisture. I would believe this was a likely situation for the neighbors homes as well. This beautiful 1940's home was nestled at the base of hill, overlooking a peaceful little creek. Although it makes for lovely pictures, this is not an ideal place to build a home. Not only did water run down the hill with every rain, but the proximity to the creek left the ground regularly soggy and led to the moisture issues plaguing the crawlspace.

When our inspector met with the homeowner we learned that their beautfiul location brought other problems as well. This house was located in a flood plain, and increases to flood insurance premiums left the homeowner paying 3500.00 a year! We installed our clean space encapsulation system as well as Smart Vents rather than our traditional vent covers. These specially engineered vents are temperature and pressure sensitive to seal and open based upon weather conditions. In the event of a flood these vents will open and allow water in so that the pressure of flood waters does not destroy the homes structure.

With installation of the Smart Vent flood vents, our home owner was able to take those flood insurance rates from 3,500.00 a year to 300 dollars a year! Not only was he immediately saving 3,000 dollars a year, but he was also reducing his yearly heating and cooling costs by 30%. If your house is in a flood plain you owe it to yourself to see if these vents could reduce your insurance as well.
