Photo Album: Water Entering Daylight Basement in Stevenson, WA
This basement was experiencing water intrusion through the walls and perimeter of the basement and the homeowner was concerned that if it was not properly addressed during their remodel that it would cause bigger problems down the line so they gave us a call and scheduled their free visit. We went out and thoroughly inspected the basement, creating the best game plan for this homeowner. We began this project by creating a trench around the interior perimeter of the basement with a jack hammer and in the trench we placed our WaterGuard. This is our perimeter drainage system to collect water from both the walls as well as groundwater that enters and drain it to the lowest point. At this low point we then install our TripleSafe system that pumps all of the water through a discharge line. This system is then concreted over to create a discreet look. The floor was cracked due to the water pressure so we install a leech line that will help relieve the pressure and is tied to the perimeter drainage system. Outside of the home we place our LawnScape outlet that is a grated drain and will keep debris out of the discharge line while still allowing water to pass through. Since this homeowner is planning to remodel the enter basement, along the wall we install our ThermalDry system which will help direct water down into the perimeter drainage system as well as keep the basement at a comfortable temperature. Now with this waterproofing system in place, this homeowner can have peace of mind and be sure that their basement will remain dry, stable and healthy for years to come.
