When our expert crews install an encapsulation system beneath the home, homeowners can rest assured that their crawl space will remain dry, healthy, and stable for the remaining life of the home, offering many years of comfort to their loved ones. Encapsulated crawl spaces are completely sealed, waterproofed, and insulated, creating a 100% air-tight seal to prevent rodents and moisture from entering, while also preventing heat loss to save families on the cost of electricity. After we clean out the entire crawl space, and remove all debris, the encapsulation process begins - starting at the bottom. We place a full interior drainage system in to collect water, routing it to he lowest point. From here, the water enters a TripleSafe sump pump to be directed away from the homes foundation through a buried discharge line. The dirt floor is then sealed, waterproofed, and insulated by the installation of dual ground coverings: TerraBlock and CleanSpace. TerraBlock is placed directly onto the dirt floor for insulation, followed by our 20 Mil CleanSpace, which is also attached onto the foundation walls. CleanSpace prevents water from seeping into the space, and dramatically transforms dark, dreary crawl spaces, into bright, welcoming areas that can be safely used as dry storage. SilverGlo Insulation Panels are then installed onto the foundation walls, overlapping the CleanSpace. SilverGlo Panels are double sided and waterproof, to keep moisture out, while reflecting heat back into homes to lower energy costs. Thanks to the sealed nature of these spaces, air quality is easily controlled with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which will clean and filter the air, while preventing the growth of mold. Maintaining clean air inside of your crawl space is highly important, as 40% of the air inside of your home comes from right beneath your feet. While our crews work, they diligently check for any openings, and seal all original vents to prevent rodents and debris from entering the space. As for the access door, our crews seamlessly remove the original door, and replace it with an EverLast access door made from rigid plastic that will never rot or discolor. Our EverLast doors shut completely around all edges, and are easily removable when needed.
