This homes crawl space was set up to be a handy to use storage space. It came off of their garage and even had steps down for easy use. However the space had rodents and the 6 Mil vapor barrier was suffering from use. To amend these issues the owners contacted John's Waterproofing about our encapsulation. This solution includes proper insulation, utilizing TerraBlock and Spray Foam, both items made to last within the crawl space environment. It also deters critters from entering the space. This process uses CleanSpace, and 20 Mil thick woven vapor barrier that is backed by a 26 year warranty against rips and tears. This seals into the space. We seal the vents fully shut, and air seal with the spray foam as well. We than control the relative humidity within the space with a SaniDry dehumidifier. Overall transforming the area into something made to stay dry, stable, and healthy year after year.
