DRYTRAK - FOR MONOLITHIC FOUNDATIONS

A typical waterproofing system involves removing the perimeter of the floor to install a drainage system. But when we come across a monolithic type foundation we need to adjust to better provide a waterproofing solution that will last. Unlike a conventional slab foundation, monolithic slabs have thick edges that are part of the structural footing of the house, these can't be removed without risking the integrity of the house.

A Two Stage Waterproofing System keeps the basement dry without the risk of compromising the foundation. On these types of foundations we use DryTrak, which is a system that is installed on the wall and the floor wall joint to capture water from the wall and at the joint, draining into a sub-floor drainage system to protect from floor leaks. From there the collected water drains into a sump system.
