Foundation Repair Photo Album: Stabilizing and Installing a New Poured Deck - Sandy, OR
This home had settled in place and this left the home unstable. To keep the home from being unsafe, it would need serious repairs. The owners of the home contacted John's Waterproofing and scheduled their free inspection to learn about how we could help them. To begin we would need to stabilize the home. We dug down next to the home and attached brackets to the foundation. We than installed push piers, using a hydraulic press to insert the new piers down into the soil until they reached a stable soil bed. Once all piers were installed we than lifted the home back to level. This process had all been on the front of the home and we than came out and installed a new concrete deck. Now the home is stable and their deck looks great to match!
Bracket on the Foundation
The brackets are installed along the foundation and the new piers are pressed down into the ground
Support and Lift
Once the piers are pressed into the ground we lift the home back to being level and the home is stable
Setting the Base for the Deck
The holes are filled in and we use rock to set up the deck
Pour and Smooth
The deck is poured into the mold we install, and than smoothed over
Let it Dry
Once all smooth and set up the deck is left to dry. Once dry we remove the form.
