Foundation Repair Photo Album: Leveling out the Home with Push Piers - Vancouver, WA
When the home is unlevel, this is unsafe fir the occupants. To remedy this problem, the owners of the home contacted John's Waterproofing. We sent out a design specialist who provided a free inspection, and than sat with the owners to go over the repair plan. To begin we would dig down in thirteen spots along the exterior of the home. In this places we attach a bracket to the homes foundation. We than use a hydraulic press to dive the push piers down into the ground. We do this until we reach solid soil, far beneath the home. Once we reach solid soil we re-level the home, allowing the home to sit upon level ground once again.
Before - Back of the Home
The back and side of the home would need to be supported by push piers
Site Prep
We pulled the deck off the back of the home, and began digging holes where we would need to work
Attaching the Brackets and Lifting
The brackets are attached to the foundation of the home, and we install piers, pushing them down until they reach solid soil
Measurement and Attention to Detail
The push piers need to be monitored to ensure they reach solid soil, to monitor this, we check the pressure as it is driven down into the ground
