When you pair brightwall with our waterproofing system you get a nice dry looking basement!
Our service team came out to do a service on this homeowners WaterGuard system. They decided that they wanted to upgrade their system and wondered if there was anything we could do to make the basement warmer. Now that it was dry they wanted to spend more time in there but it was still pretty chilly. We suggested our ThermalDry wall system that acts as an insulation and reflects heat back into the basement. Now they have a dry and warm basement for years to come!
Partially done crawlspace was bothering customer, so they called us to finish it
This homeowner in King City had another company come out and work on their crawlspace and after a few years, a cable installer showed them photos of their crawlspace. They were disappointed to see the entire space covered in a thick and sloppy layer of spray foam insulation covering everything in their crawlspace.
Our crews came in and removed the old insulation and installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier and then applied the spray foam properly around the foundation of the space so that the homeowner and workers could still access the space and work when needed.
After living with significant water damage in the basement for a long time, this homeowner decided it was time to do an upgrade and make the space usable again. They called John's Waterproofing about fixing their leaky basement walls and offering a cleaner look. We informed the homeowner about our basement waterproofing process and they agreed it was the best solution to saving their basement. First, we installed a drainage system. This basement was clearly experiencing water damage from the cracks in the foundation walls and seeping in through the footing. We installed a WaterGuard drainage system that goes below the flooring and along the interior perimeter of the basement. This is able to collect any water that tries to seep through and offer a safe passageway for it to flow through as opposed to flooding. It is lined with gravel to help filter the water through and connects to a SuperSump Plus sump pump. The sump pump takes any water that is collected and can push it out of the basement and away from the homes foundation through a discharge line. After the drainage system is installed, we cover it with concrete so that the homeowner can still use the space however they want without noticing there is a full system beneath. Afterwards, we installed a CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier. This is a 20 mil thick liner made with woven fibers to keep moisture out. It is backed by a 25 year warranty against rips and tears to ensure long-lasting protection. Once this basement waterproofing process is completed, the homeowner gets the upgrade they needed to their basement and can use the space freely again.
