This concrete basement had water seeping in through the cold joints. We came in and installed WaterGuard, ThermalDry wall system, and a TripleSafe sump pump, transforming this basement from a damp, cold, and unusable area to a dry, temperature controlled, and usable space for years to come.
This fiberglass insulation was wet and heavy from condensation, leaving the home with high energy bills. To help the homeowners take back control of their homes' temperatures we did a full crawlspace encapsulation with insulation solutions made for crawlspaces.
This homeowner knew their vapor barrier was getting pushed around by water. They tried to stop this by placing rocks over the vapor barrier, thinking the vapor barrier would stop falling out of place. However this just allowed the water to more easily pool on-top of the barrier. To find a solution to the crawlspace issues, they chose to have John's do a full encapsulation.
This Crawlspace was full of water and mud when our crew started. But after our crew worked hard for hours in what most people would consider harsh conditions, drying out the crawlspace, cleaning it, encapsulating, installing sump pumps and a dehumidifier, hanging back up fallen ducts and insulation and then cleaning up again, they were finally able to make this Clackamas Crawlspace clean and dry!
Seasonal Rains have left this crawlspace a mess. The old fiberglass insulation was water logged and in pieces. The old vapor barrier was pulled up in places and pushed around.
