Next, we lay down 2 layers of specialized padding and sheeting, to cover the entire dirt floor. Our TerraBlock is then laid down, insulating the ground and providing a sturdy surface. Directly on top of the TerraBlock, as well as up onto the walls, we place our 20 Mil CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to prevent moisture from seeping in through the ground and walls. CleanSpace is bright and white, and transforms dark, dreary crawl spaces, into clean, welcoming areas that can be safely used as dry storage. It is also interlaced with carbon fibers - making it incredibly durable, and allowing it to come with a 25 year warranty against rips and tears. Following this, the dehumidifier is placed, with this powerful machine, the homeowners can rest assured that the air they are breathing inside of their home is safe - as 40% of the air inside of your home comes from your crawl space. Directly onto the foundation walls, we attach SilverGlo wall panels around the entire interior perimeter of the space. These panels are 2-sided, to waterproof the walls, while also reflecting heat back into the home - saving homeowners money on their heating and cooling costs. Lastly, to seal the entire outside of the crawl space, our crew covers all original vents, and removes and replaces the original access door with a custom-cut EverLast Access Door. Our EverLast Doors are made of rigid plastic that will never rot or discolor, and they leave no gaps around the edges - preventing rodent intrusion, and sealing the space.
