When Encapsulating a crawl space, our crew begins by removing all of the old debris, leaving a nice clean area to work. We then install a full drain system along the foundation walls. Water collects within to be guided to the sump pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump will immediately pump all water that enters the crawl space away from the home. The TripleSafe is a 3-pump-in-1 system, where each pump is activated as needed. The 3rd and final pump is battery operated, ensuring functionality even in the event of a power outage - giving homeowners absolute peace of mind. Next, 2 layers of ground coverings are laid down; TerraBlock and CleanSpace. These waterproof and insulate the ground, while sealing the crawl space. Next, our Electrical Division installed a dedicated circuit for TripleSafe Sump Pump and for the dehumidifier we will install at the end. Each vent is sealed shut and we place SilverGlo Panels along the foundation walls to insulate them. These Panels are made for the crawl space and will not loose their insulation value over the years. For the access point, we installed a Turtl. Our Turtl Access Doors are made of rigid plastic that will never rot or discolor, and they leave no gaps around the edges when shut. As an added level of protection, they can also be locked with a padlock to prevent unwanted intrusions. Then, to keep the relative humidity within a healthy range, the SaniDry dehumidifier is installed.
