Wet crawl spaces can cause significant structural damage to homes, weakening the soil the foundation sits on, while simultaneously eroding the concrete foundation walls. To address this, and remain budget friendly, we can install a Pipe, Pump, Plastic system, which collects all ground water intrusion that enters the crawl space, and expels it far away from the home via an underground discharge line. To install this effective system, our crew begins by removing all of the old debris inside of the crawl space. Once the space is clear, we dig a narrow trench along the full interior perimeter of the space, to hold our 3" Perforated Piping. All water intrusion will be collected in the Piping, and routed down to the lowest point inside of the space, and directly into a heavy-duty SuperSump Pump, for expulsion. To provide power to the Pump, our Electrical Division installs a new, dedicated outlet for the operation of the machine. To prevent water from seeping in through the ground inside of the crawl space, we also lay down our 6 Mil Black Plastic Vapor Barrier, to cover the entire dirt floor. This waterproofing component ensures that moisture cannot damage the structural frame of the crawl space or subfloor. Our Pipe, Pump, Plastic Waterproofing System has been used for decades.
