A musty odor had taken over a new home in Sandy, OR, leaving the homeowners frustrated and concerned. Our crew entered the crawl space and discovered widespread mold and signs of moisture from a plumbing leak the homeowners didn't know about. We developed a plan with the family and decided on a complete crawl space encapsulation. Our crew first removed all debris and then installed a SmartDrain to catch unexpected leaks and alert the homeowners if they were to occur. Then the team installed TerraBlock insulation and a CleanSpace vapor barrier before adding SilverGlo wall panels along the foundation lastly, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to control humidity.

Smart Drain

A Smart Drain was installed as a preventative measure to help protect the crawl space from potential leaks. Designed for homes without severe water intrusion, it collects small amounts of water and alerts homeowners if moisture is detected.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on top of TerraBlock to seal the crawl space from moisture and humid air. This protects the home from future moisture issues and creates a clean and dry environment.
