Our Design Specialist gave them the rundown of what was found and they collaborated on a full encapsulation. To start the project off, the crew removed all insulation including hanging fiberglass, teared up plastic vapor barrier, debris, and critter droppings. On top of the TerraBlock, we lay down CleanSpace to permanently separate the house and the ground. Next, we cover vents and add an EverLast door to help keep outside air out of the crawl space. Spray foam insulation is then applied along the foundation walls. Spray foam fills every space and void with an 100% air seal. Cold, warm, and moist air is now unable to penetrate its away inside. Lastly, to condition the space, we installed a powerful SaniDry Sedona. This is the world's most efficient dehumidifier that can keep the humidity in the interior crawl space a healthy level. It eliminates any damp odors and keeps the air dry.
