Water filled the crawl space, fiberglass insulation hung low from the subflooring, and pieces of it scattered throughout, soaking wet. Mud, mold, and mildew lingered, compromising the health of the homeowners and the safety of the home. An open entry access was left open, just slightly covered with a wood panel, which left the crawl space vulnerable to further water intrusion. A John's Waterproofing Design Specialist was sent in to devise a plan that wouldn't leave a dent in the homeowners' wallet, but provide them with a waterproofing solution.  Our crew came in and removed every single bit of debris. No longer would that nasty insulation, vapor barrier, or puddles of water threaten. A Perf Pipe drainage line was installed along the perimeter of the crawl space to catch excess water. This water then travels to the freshly installed TripleSafe sump pump. Next, a new 6-mil vapor barrier was laid across the dirt floor to keep moisture in the soil. Lastly, an EverLast crawl space door was installed. With the help of John's Waterproofing, this new waterproofing system made this crawl space go from a wet, muddy mess to a space ready to stay dry.
