Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Waterproofing That Doesn't Break The Bank - Salem, OR
John's greatly understands and respects the need for homeowners and their families to stay within attainable home repair budgets. This is why we continue to proudly offer our budget-friendly crawl space waterproofing system to all customers, known as our Pipe, Pump, Plastic System. We have been installing our PPP System in crawl spaces for over 50 years. Our expert crews have seen crawl spaces in all varying degrees of disrepair, and have the knowledge and experience to help families thrive in their homes above dry, clean crawl spaces.
Before installing our PPP System, our crews first clean out the crawl space, ensuring the space is clean and dry. Next, we dig a shallow, narrow trench around the full interior perimeter of the space, to hold our 3" Perforated Pipe system. The Piping will collect all water intrusion, and route it to a heavy-duty Sump Pump, for expulsion far away from the home via an underground discharge line. To provide power to the pump, our Electrical Division installs a new, dedicated circuit for the machine. Lastly, our crew lays down a fresh 6 Mil Vapor Barrier directly on top of the dirt floor inside of the crawl space, as well as up onto the concrete foundation walls, to prevent water from seeping into the space. This homeowner no longer has to worry about standing water damaging his crawl space. Should this family want to upgrade to a more advanced waterproofing system in the future, John's makes the upgrade process simple and seamless, by utilizing several of the previously installed waterproofing components - saving homeowners money and time on their upgrade.
Water Intrusion Into Crawl Space
Standing water beneath your home is an emergency, that requires immediate, professional attention from your leading local experts in crawl space repair - John's Waterproofing.
Fallen Subfloor Insulation
Hanging and fallen subfloor insulation are indicative of repetitive standing water beneath your home. Fallen insulation makes perfect living conditions for rodents to infest your crawl space, which quickly creates a toxic environment beneath your home.
Standing Water Damages Structural Components
When water accumulates beneath your home, it can cause catastrophic damage to the wooden structural components that support your homes weight, by rotting wooden posts, and eroding the soil that supports concrete footings.
Our Pipe, Pump, Plastic System
Our PPP System waterproofs crawl spaces and protects homes from the devastating effects of unchecked water intrusion and damage.
6 Mil Vapor Barrier
Our crew installs the fresh Vapor Barrier up onto the foundation walls, as well as over top the entire dirt floor, to effectively prevent water from seeping into the space from both the walls and the ground.
SuperSump Pump
Our professional-grade, heavy-duty SuperSump Pump works around the clock, fully automatically to protect homes from water damage.
