Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Debris No More - Gold Bar, WA

A home in Gold Bar had something scary lingering below—its crawl space. Debris piled on top of debris littered the space; rodents and pests found their way inside through the exterior vents and a faulty crawl space entry. Our John's Waterproofing crew came out to the rescue, clearing out the mess and creating a cleaner, healthier environment below the home. We removed all debris and installed a perimeter drain system within the crawl space and a sump pump to redirect the collected water away from the home. A new 6-mil vapor barrier was laid across the dirt floor, allowing for a protective barrier against moisture. Next, vent screens were attached over each exterior vent to help deter rodents, pests, and unwanted debris from entering the space again. Lastly, we installed a Turtl crawlspace door to replace the faulty opening that once served as the crawl space entry. This new door provides homeowners and our crew with easy access when needed, while keeping the unwanted visitors out.
