When our design specialist arrived at this home, he thoroughly inspected the crawl space, noting substantial evidence of water intrusion and damage. When presenting his findings to the homeowner, he explained that several of the subfloor posts were showing signs that they had been resting in water for extended periods of time. If left unchecked, this would lead to the posts rotting beneath their feet. Additionally, non-mediated water intrusion into the space for many years, had created  toxic air quality both beneath of, and inside of the home, as 40% of interior air comes from the crawl space. In order to protect the stability of the home, as well as the health of the family, our specialist recommended the installation of our Pipe, Pump, Plastic Waterproofing System, to catch and pump all future water intrusion, away from the home. This System also includes the installation of a new, 6 Mil Vapor Barrier, preventing water from seeping in through the ground and walls. The homeowner agreed to this solution, and we scheduled the job. This home was also in need of a new Electrical Sub Panel, which our Electrical Division carefully installed with the professional knowledge and expertise that only comes from many, many years of experience. Upon completion of the installation of our PPP System to waterproof the crawl space, as well as the addition of a new Electrical Sub Panel, this home is now protected from water damage, and is equipped with additional electrical capabilities, to meet the homeowners rising needs.
