We began this project by removing all of the debris and old vapor barrier. Since this crawl space did not have much moisture, we install our SmartDrain which is our system that will alert the homeowner of a possible leak with an audible alarm and will drain it away into a drywell underneath the CleanSpace until the homeowner can address it. Next, we make sure all of vents are covered and sealed shut to prevent outside air from entering. On the dirt floor we install our ground insulation which is our TerraBlock. On top of the TerraBlock, in-between each footing and post as well as anchored into the foundation walls we install our CleanSpace system that will not only protect the space but brighten it up with its white finish. To then keep the environment controlled we install our SaniDry Sedona, which is our effective dehumidifier. This machine will eliminate damp and musty odors by drying and filtering the air all while keeping the space at a healthy relative humidity. To finish, we install our foam insulation. This is sprayed onto the foundation walls up to the rim joists, expanding and filling every crack to guarantee an airtight seal. With this project now done, these homeowners can now have peace of mind when storing their personal belongings, thanks to their encapsulation.
