Challenge
Mr. Wasson's wife had been getting sick quite often, which they believed had been caused by allergies from outside. However, when their grandchildren came over and started getting sick is when they realized there had to be another culprit.
They had recently needed some remodeling done, which led to them learning about the mold growth in the crawl space. Mr. and Mrs. Wasson decided enough was enough and called us to come to check everything out for them.
Solution
Marcus found that there was mold along the entire crawl space. Which was caused due to the vapor barrier was torn and giving the moisture from the soil access to the area. Which was a perfect growing environment for mold.
And those mold spores spread into the rest of the home, with 50% of the air you breathe daily. Which can cause flu-like symptoms, and lung inflammation. So to help the air quality and prevent any future breakouts, we used our Mold-X2, which is a two-step cleaning solution.
The first step is a stain remover, which works on wood and masonry. After applying it takes 20-30 seconds for the mold stains to be completely removed. When that dries, they lathered the second step, which is an all-natural thyme-based formulated botanical.
Which helps prevent mold growth from reoccurring. To ensure that this product works at its best, they also had the crawl space encapsulated to regulate moisture control. And prevent any further water damage from happening, leaving the family with healthy, breathable air.
