This homeowner was renovating their home and discovered their crawlspace in disrepair. To address it, they researched only and opted to move forward with a crawlspace encapsulation. 

This homes interior doorways were no longer closing smoothly, and the floor had a slight bounce to it. The homeowners called up John's Waterproofing to get some help. To solve the issue we replaced the damaged wooden posts with SmartJacks. The home is lifted to the correct height. CleanSpace is installed over the footing, and a SmartJack is inserted, and secured into place. Once the homes weight is on the stable SmartJack the lift is removed. 

Customer called for water leaking into basement

This customer was referred to us by a local company because when their tech went to make repairs under the home it was so damp and a strong musty smell. Our crews went in and cleaned out the crawlspace and cleaned the mold. We installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier that is a 20 mil thick woven fiber plastic. We use this to completely seal the crawlspace to keep unwanted pests, moisture, and other alignments out. The customer was so happy to see how clean it was and that she won’t have to worry about mold in the crawlspace again.

Installing a French Drain is a great option for directing water out and away from your home and keeps the water from pooling your yard.
