Tidewater, OR Crawlspace is full of Water

This wet and muddy crawl space is not a dry clean space. We replaced the broken drain pipe with a duct that takes out all the wet dirty air and filters it through our dehumidifier that then puts out dry clean air.

Muddy Crawlspace in Tidewater, OR

This crawlspace would flood and create a dense muddy mess, to keep water levels from damaging the wooden posts the homeowners dug a waterway under their home. To find a long-term solution they turned to John's Waterproofing and had a full crawlspace encapsulation installed.

Choosing CleanSpace Vapor Barrier - Corvallis, OR

This homeowner hadn't inspected their crawl space in several years. Curious of the state it was in, they decided to check it out and make sure everything looked good. Unfortunately, their crawl space had extreme water intrusion and their original vapor barrier was practically destroyed and covered in debris. They called John's Waterproofing about getting a new vapor barrier to solve their crawl space problem. We informed the homeowner the differences in CleanSpace versus code-regulated and they agreed that a full encapsulation with CleanSpace would be the best long-term solution. Traditional code-regulated vapor barriers are only 6 mil thin. This means that they can rip and tear easily, negating their purpose of being a secure liner to keep water out. But, the CleanSpace vapor barrier is a 20 mil thick liner made with woven fibers. It is backed by a 25 year warranty against rips and tears because the material is so strong. When we install CleanSpace, we make sure to secure it in place with 4 inch thick waterproof tape so that it won't rip or move. It is designed to keep water from seeping through while also isolating the space to protect against water damage. CleanSpace gets installed along the base of the crawl space, up the foundation walls, and between the concrete footing and wooden posts. After finishing the encapsulation with CleanSpace, this homeowner felt much safer knowing their crawl space would stay dry and healthy.

Super Sump in Corvallis, OR Basement

This homeowner had a Super Sump sump pump installed to remove the excess moisture in her crawlspace. The Super Sump can remove up to 2,650 gallons of water per hour while working quietly and smoothly.
