After dealing with fiberglass insulation in the crawl space this homeowner was over it. Every few years it needed to be either changed out or tied up again and mold would have to be dealt with. Since the spaces environment didn't change, the mold just kept returning. This homeowner was ready to try something new, and called up John's Waterproofing to get a free inspection. In the end the warranties on the products and installation gave this homeowner the confidence to get a full encapsulation! They are pleased with how nice the space looks and look forward to testing how it holds up!
Customer called concerned about their crawlspace because there was standing water. Our crew went in and installed a discharge line, Smart Sump, and new vapor barrier so they don't have to worry about their crawl space.
These homeowners found standing water in their basement. They quickly moved the items around to help keep things dry. However, they knew this was only a temporary way to address the issue, and a drain system would be needed. They called up John's Waterproofing for help and we worked with them to find a long term solution with products backed by our amazing warranties.
High waters were found in this crawlspace. The homeowner knew that this was an issue that wouldn't just go away, but could cause a lot of issues. To keep their home stable and healthy they were looking to encapsulate their crawlspace.
This home had an old vapor barrier that had gotten pushed around and moved by the water. This caused the old vapor barrier to hold water, allowing mud to be caked on top of it and the old fiberglass insulation above to droop and hold water. To stop the water intrusion we did a full crawlspace encapsulation.
