This homes basement was going to be finished. To do so the homeowners knew they would need to waterproof first. There was already water creeping in along the corners and knew if they finished, the water would become an expensive issue. To waterproof and prep the space we installed a full interior drainage system, a Sump pump, and ThermalDry radiant wall barrier. Our electrician division then went in the set up the electrical aspects of the home so it will be ready for the homeowners chosen contractor to finish. 

This homes crawl space had a good slope, and the water would pool in the lower areas, causing damp odors. To address this issue the homeowner called up John's Waterproofing to get a quote to replace the 6 Mil. We ended up installing a pipe system to ensure water was directed to the lowest point where a new TripleSafe sump pump is installed and we installed a new 6 Mil vapor barrier, overlapping edges and running it up the walls to help it last a few years until the barrier will need to be replaced or upgraded again. 

This crawl space had been inflicted by years of non-mediated water intrusion, causing substantial damage to the foundation walls supporting the weight of the home, while also creating an unhealthy air environment both beneath of and inside of the home, as 40% of interior air, comes from the crawl space. 

In order to prevent further water damage to the foundation walls, and to improve air quality, our waterproofing experts installed our budget-friendly Pipe, Pump, Plastic Waterproofing System. They began by cleaning out the crawl space entirely, leaving a nice clean area beneath the home. Next, they dug a shallow, narrow trench along the full interior perimeter of the space, to hold our 3" Perforated Pipe. From now on, as water enters the crawl space, it will be caught in the Piping, and routed to a SuperSump Pump installed at the lowest point. After water reaches the pump, it will be expelled far away from the home via an underground discharge line. Our crew also installed a fresh, 6 Mil Vapor Barrier to cover the entirety of the dirt floor, as well as the walls. To address the damaged foundation walls, our crew injected each crack with specialized Epoxy, and then attached Carbon Fiber Stitching directly on top of the cracks, offering reinforcement to the walls that is 10 times stronger than steel. Dual installation of the Epoxy and Carbon Fiber Stitching, will firmly hold the cracks together, and prevent them from worsening. John's professional crawl space waterproofing, and foundation wall reinforcement has successfully returned structural integrity and stability to this home. This family can once again thrive in a dry, clean, and stable home, knowing they can always call on us for help in the future if need be. 

This wall had a hairline crack and was beginning to break down the structural integrity. Our team went in and put in power braces to help hold the wall and they are then going to finish the wall. 

This homes crawlspace had an old 6 Mil vapor barrier, and after a few years, these need to be changed out. They dont fully seal a space, and can move around over time. This one had been installed a little over six years ago, and some chew marks were present, bringing water over the barrier, and humidity issues were causing the homes insulation to sag and fall in places. To keep the home healthy, the homeowners opted to have a full encapsulation solution installed, providing their home with a long term solution.
