This homes crawl space was in disrepair. The homeowners had tried some DIY options, but nothing was providing a real solution. So they called up John's Waterproofing for a professional opinion. While not ready for a full encapsulation, they opted for a Pipe, Pump, and Plastic. This will provide them a full drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump, and a brand new 6 Mil vapor barrier. This system will be able to stand up to the amount of water that the home faces. The homeowners like how much cleaner the crawl space looks and it smells fresher to. Now when they are ready for an encapsulation down the road, they already have the drains and pump in place. 

This crawlspace was damp and humid that is the perfect spot for certain plant life, fungus, and mold to grow. This customer luckily only had plants so far, and with our Cleanspace encapsulation system they won’t have to worry about anything else growing down there!

The water was not being drained out properly through the sump pump they had in place due to placement and the amount of water coming in was more than the pump was designed for. John’s came in and Installed our Triplesafe sump pump and encapsulated the crawlspace with Cleanspace to help prevent any further water damage. An UltraSump Backup battery was also installed to help guarantee no sump failures during any of the many storms the coastal cities endure in this area.

This home had their crawlspace for general storage. Because of this they layered vapor barriers over the dirt floor to add extra protection should the plastic tear while they moved through the space. While pools of water were not an issue, humidity was becoming a concern as their old fiberglass began to absorb water and droop. To ensure this space remained dry and healthy they called up John's Waterproofing for a full encapsulation, making this space a much healthier storage room. 

Dead critters in the crawlspace show that critters are making their way in. This homeowner could smell the crawlspace from upstairs and wanted to clear the space out of the debris and intruders.
