Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This home just had a company come out and install fiberglass insulation in their crawlspace. Once it was done they learned that water vapor can cause damage to this and they would need to change out their old vapor barrier since it was damaged. While we do not like fiberglass in a crawlspace since it holds moisture, rips, and tears, we were happy to come out and install a TripleSafe sump pump and a drainage system with a new vapor barrier to help their homestay dry and healthy. 

This home's crawlspace was cramped and difficult to move throughout. The space had high humidity and this was causing the fiberglass insulation to fall apart. To solve this we did a dig out to bring the space up to code and did a full encapsulation to properly insulate the space and keep it dry and healthy. 

This homeowner was used to replacing their vapor barrier every few years to keep up on their crawlspace repair needs. However, after hearing about encapsulation providing a long-term solution to crawlspace issues, they were ready to upgrade to a lasting solution. 

This spacious crawlspace in Florence was a nice storage area. Too bad it was filling with water all the time. This client opted for just a sump pump, new vapor barrier and new posts to replace the ones weakened by the water and moisture in the crawlspace our SmartJack system is a great product to use to replace traditional wooden posts. This homes crawl space was in poor condition. From water heavy fiberglass insulation to a ripped and torn old vapor barrier. The space was emitting a damp and musty odor which was permeating into the homes living spaces. Knowing these couldn't be a healthy thing for their home they knew they would benefit from a waterproofing system. So they called up John's Waterproofing and scheduled their free inspection. After doing a full inspection we went over options, landing on a full encapsulation to protect the space fully. This involves installing a full drain system, sump pump, proper insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier, as well as a dehumidifier. This system will be able to control the crawl space environment to keep the space dry and healthy.
