Our solution for this particular homeowner was our patented Cleanspace encapsulation system. It is a 20 mil thick, 7 layer polyethylene composition with polyester composition. Cleanspace is patented to reduce moisture and humidity, seal out cold air, and keep out all insects and pests. It is installed on the floor and walls to create a continuous air and moisture barrier. We also installed spray foam insulation, a closed-celled barrier that also keeps out moisture and air. This system ensures that no water will cause any more structural damage or allow odors and allergens to reach the home.
