Sump Pumps Before & After Photos

The water was not being drained out properly through the sump pump they had in place due to placement and the amount of water coming in was more than the pump was designed for. John’s came in and Installed our Triplesafe sump pump and encapsulated the crawlspace with Cleanspace to help prevent any further water damage. An UltraSump Backup battery was also installed to help guarantee no sump failures during any of the many storms the coastal cities endure in this area.

This home had a small section of finished basement, with their stairway going past the entryway to their crawlspace. The crawlspace had a simple vapor barrier, but the added moisture that was still creeping in was causing mold to take over the stairway and was working into the rest of the basement. To fix up the home we added a drainage system in the crawlspace and graded this to a new TripleSafe sump pump in the basement. Our crew laid down a new 6 Mil vapor barrier and a new SaniDry dehumidifier to stop mold and mildew from occurring. 

This home's sump pump was suffering. It was too small to handle the amount of water that the home saw, and was clogged. They needed to upgrade their crawl space game, and for this they chose John's Waterproofing encapsulation. The customer had ventured into their crawlspace, and found that it was "a complete mess down there." So they decided it was time to have someone go down and clean it out. They had the space encapsulated with our 20 mil CleanSpace and a TripleSafe sump pump to help control the moisture buildup in the space. 

Having a sump pump that can do the job, makes a world of difference. This homes crawl space would flood. The owners would have to change out their vapor barrier often and they tried a DIY approach. But water kept creeping up in this space, and the sump pump would clog. It ended up more of a hassle. To get the right machine for the job, the owners ended up calling up John's Waterproofing. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump. This system has three pumps. The main one, a secondary, and than a battery back up pump should the power go out. Now the space is set up to actually stand up against the water that their crawl space faces.
