When this homeowner called our office - seeking professional waterproofing - we were quick to act, and got her on our schedule right away. After our Design Specialist completed his thorough, free inspection of her basement, he recommended the combined installation of the most effective waterproofing systems available. The homeowner signed off on her customized Job Proposal, and we began assembling our team to prepare for the job, which began soon after the inspection. To waterproof these leaky basement walls, our expert crew began by cutting a narrow trench into the basements concrete floor, right up against the base of the leaking walls, and then backfilled the trench with fresh concrete to ensure permanent stability. Inside of the trench, we placed our WaterGuard System, which consists of durable "tunnels", which will collect all wall water intrusion, and route it into a TripleSafe Sump Pump. This professional-grade machine is a 3-pump-in-1 system, where each pump is activated if the one ahead of it fails, or is overwhelmed by water volume. The 3rd and final pump is fully battery-operated, ensuring functionality of the pump system, even in the event of a power outage. When water reaches the pump, it will be expelled far away from the home via an underground discharge line. Next, our crew installed CleanSpace directly onto the basement walls. Our CleanSpace Wall System is 20 Mil thick, waterproof, and prevents not only water from invading the basement, but also vapors to help maintain a clean, safe air quality. It is resistant to mold, and transforms dreary, wet basements into bright, clean areas. From now on, when water passes through the basement walls, it will be trapped behind the CleanSpace, and will flow down, directly into the WaterGuard at the base of the walls. This basement also had leaking windows, so our crew installed Window Well Ducts beneath the windows, catching all leaking water, and route it down into the WaterGuard. The combined installation of each of these highly effective waterproofing components, now offers permanent protection to the structure of this home from water damage, and has transformed the space into an area that can be safely used as dry storage.
