Each heavy rain brought even more water and worry for the homeowners. A desperate call came into John's, and we responded with urgency. Time was ticking until the home became a lost cause. After a free inspection, our Design Specialists and the homeowners worked together to create the most budget-fitting and optimal plan to waterproof the basement. The project started with the removal of the water-damaged walls. Next, a trench was excavated around the interior perimeter of the basement, and our WaterGuard drainage system was installed to capture water before it could reach the floor. In a location hidden from the public eye, a SuperSump Plus was installed to pump the collected water safely out and far away from the home. Along the foundation walls, thermal dry wall panels were installed, followed by paint-ready sheetrock so the homeowners could refinish their basement even better than before. Now, instead of worrying every time the river rises, they can enjoy a dry basement built to last.
