Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: A Basement Done Right - Cornelius, OR

This Cornelius home had hopes of one day finishing their basement, but when signs of water intrusion started to show up, that dream began to feel impossible. When the call came into John's, we knew we could help make that dream a reality for these homeowners.  When we came in to save the day, the first step was excavating a trench along the interior perimeter of the basement, where WaterGuard was installed to help manage incoming water. A TripleSafe sump pump system was installed in a location that could be concealed from the rest of the basement. Next, ThermalDry wall was placed along the foundation walls to help insulate the basement while still allowing finishing walls to be installed over it. In another section of the basement, BrightWall was installed, giving the space a clean, semi-finished look while helping direct moisture down toward the WaterGuard. A SaniDry was placed to keep the space at a healthy relative humidity so mold and mildew would find no hold here. The waterproofing system was finally in place, and the basement was protected from water intrusion. The home was one step closer to becoming the finished space the homeowners always wanted.
