Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water-Logged Basement Walls - La Center, WA

This home was experiencing severe water intrusion in its finished basement. An attempt was made to soak up the water by lining the walls with towels, but it simply wasn't enough. A call came into John's Waterproofing from the homeowners, who were desperate for a solution. We sent one of our design specialists to the home to work with the homeowners to create a waterproofing plan tailored to their needs. The mission began with removing all waterlogged walls. Then, a trench was excavated along the interior perimeter of the basement, where WaterGuard and TrenchDrain were installed. These drainage systems direct any water that enters the space to a sump pump. Once the systems were beneath a fresh layer of concrete, a TripleSafe sump pump was installed in a discreet location in the basement. Along the foundation, ThermalDry wall was placed to help radiate heat back into the space for more comfortable, efficient temperatures while sending any moisture into the drainage system. Lastly, EverLast walls were installed to restore the finished basement the homeowners once enjoyed. The waterproofing system was completed, and the finished basement was restored. The homeowners could finally utilize their space without worrying about water intrusion... or reaching for a stack of towels every time it rained.
