This home had both a crawl space and basement. The basement was used as a workspace, and the adjoining crawl space was emitting a damp odor. To address this, the homeowners were looking for a waterproofing solution. They called up John's Waterproofing to receive their free inspection and discuss options. To address the crawl space we installed an encapsulation, with waterproofing in the basement space.
This homes basement was often cold and drafty. They homeowners had insulated three of the walls in the space, but the fourth side was against a crawlspace. In an attempt to save on energy bills, they had tacked a blanket against the interior entryway to the crawlspace. This didn't make any noticeable difference and called up John's Waterproofing. We laid down TerraBlock insulation over the dirt floor, secured CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the space and spray foam along the walls. This made the room much more comfortable and the homeowners were thrilled to call us back to let us know their bills have gone down.
Customer called for water coming through their concrete walls and the crawlspace needs vapor barrier.
Water coming through the basement walls and crawlspace. Which is causing a very musty smell to travel into the rest of the home. So we encapsulated the crawl space and isolated the piers to prevent any caving in of the baseboards.
The customer called due to concerns on a small vapor barrier covered crawl space in the basement. There were a very strong musty smell and moldy shelves that were next to it, which were also raising red flags. We encapsulated the small crawl space and got a dehumidifier down in the daylight basement to regulate any unforeseen future humidity problems.
