Customer is a contractor that is building a home, and their client wanted the space encapsulated.
After dealing with fiberglass insulation in the crawl space this homeowner was over it. Every few years it needed to be either changed out or tied up again and mold would have to be dealt with. Since the spaces environment didn't change, the mold just kept returning. This homeowner was ready to try something new, and called up John's Waterproofing to get a free inspection. In the end the warranties on the products and installation gave this homeowner the confidence to get a full encapsulation! They are pleased with how nice the space looks and look forward to testing how it holds up!
For your crawlspace to be up to code you need a vapor barrier laid down in the crawlspace to help protect your home from gases and water vapors. These barriers often get dirty and torn up, they need to then be replaced. We clean up the crawlspace and laid down a new intact 6 mil vapor barrier.
This home had critters creeping under the home. To stop this issue they had an exterminator come by, followed up by John's Waterproofing to install our woven 20 Mil vapor barrier; CleanSpace.
Customer called concerned about their crawlspace because there was standing water. Our crew went in and installed a discharge line, Smart Sump, and new vapor barrier so they don't have to worry about their crawl space.
