This homes old vapor barrier was caked in dirt and mud. The damp smell was now in the home. To combat this issue we did a full crawlspace encapsulation to have this home be dry and healthy! 

Standing water in the crawlspace is never a good thing but when it is causing a muddy mess everywhere what do you do? This customer faced this problem when he discovered his crawlspace had standing water and it was causing damage to his vapor barrier. We had our inspector go out and see what we could do for them. We did a dry out of the crawlspace and then cleaned out the old muddy vapor barrier. We installed our Smart sump pump with a new drainage line to keep all future water out of the crawlspace. We put in a new 6 mil black plastic vapor barrier and now this customer will not have to worry about future water problems.
