Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This homes crawlspace was flooding when rains hit, and the wooden posts were rotting out from the water exposure. The home above had slanted floors from the damage that was occurring. To solve the issue we replaced 27 wooden posts with SmartJacks and added in two more to add in support where needed. We then did a full crawlspace encapsulation to keep this home dry and healthy. 

John's Waterproofing came to this home in Fall Creek to make it healthy and energy efficient. Our solution for this crawlspace was our CleanSpace encapsulation system. This 20-mil thick vapor barrier significantly outperforms the easy to tear 6-mil liners that are commonly used as vapor barriers. CleanSpace can slow or block harmful gasses such as radon and protects the home from dust and allergens while also waterproofing the crawlspace. It acts as an insulation barrier as well and makes a difference of 10 degrees compared to common vapor barriers.

This homes crawlspace had a critter issue. The homeowners had to stock and clean out mouse traps. After doing this for a short while, they wanted a long term solution so the critters would be deterred and they wouldn't have to worry about the smell of dead rodents. After some searching online, they opted to look into a crawlspace encapsulation. After a thorough inspection, the homeowners were ready to move forward. This crawlspace entrance had cracks and was allowing water to enter under the home. We updated it to an EverLast Access Well with an EverLast doorway to keep water out and protect the homes foundation.
