Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This crawlspace in Milwaukie Oregon was full of water, and mold due to the moisture and high relative humidity. Our team came in and completed a full encapsulation system including sprayfoam around the entire crawlspace. 

This dirty vapor barrier is proof of an existing and reoccurring moisture issue.  When the rains start this will begin to accumulate on the vapor barrier again. 

The customers called due to constantly being sick from mold growth that started from the crawl space 

Even though we really encourage a crawl space encapsulation we also know that it's not always achievable. This crawl space was in need of a vapor barrier replacement. The old one was muddy from water coming in and not protecting the home like it was supposed to. We did a traditional black plastic replacement and what a difference. You can see when we replaced it our crew made sure the vapor barrier went up the foundation wall and made sure the protection was there. The homeowner was very pleased to have it done. 

This home had a hillside crawlspace, that included some poured flat spaces. The homeowners wanted to utilize this for storage space, but they knew any water intrusion could cause damage, so they called up John's Waterproofing for encapsulation!
