This customer called about water getting into the crawlspace and wanting to look into options to waterproof. We went out and replaced the crawl space access well to give better protection and more durability. Before it was a short access that could rust and had a dirt bottom. The door was not properly sealed shut and left the crawl space vulnerable to water, leaves, and pests. The EverLast system is made with long-lasting materials that will never rust, corrode, support mold growth, or rot. No ugly eyesore in your yard. It is finished with river rock to avoid puddling and mud against your foundation. The customer was pleased with how well it blended with the landscape and knowing it was going to last the life of the house.
This was a returning customer that had decided to move forward with also getting a crawlspace encapsulation system. Our crew went out and installed our CleanSpace 20 mil vapor barrier that is used to seal the crawlspace. We make sure it is a complete seal by sliding the vapor barrier under the post and completely isolating. We also did a mold treatment on the wood where the old sagging insulation had been collecting and holding moisture. This homeowner was so relieved to have a dry clean crawlspace and knowing his family will now be breathing clean air.
The customer has two crawlspaces with one that had standing water. They wanted it sealed off and a sump pump to keep it dry.
The customer had us come out in 2015 for an inspection. We had found water, but she wanted to do more research and get other companies opinions on encapsulation. Three years down the road and she decided she was ready to get her crawlspace encapsulated. And was left pleasantly surprised by how fast the job was finished along with the finished looks.
