Encapsulating your crawl space ensures that the area underneath will stay dry and usable for many years, also providing you with clean air coming into your home.
This homes basement was unfinished and suffered from water issues. To transform the space into something dry, stable, and healthy they called up John's Waterproofing. We installed a full interior perimeter WaterGuard drainage system, TripleSafe Sump Pump, CleanSpace wall vapor barrier, and a SaniDry Dehumidifier.
This home suffered with pooling water. They had shelving installed in the basement to keep items up off the ground, but the moisture content was still allowing mold to grow and the shelving's legs were absorbing the water. To protect their home and items, the homeowners moved forward with a basement waterproofing job with a full interior perimeter drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump with a SaniDry dehumidifier.
This wall had a large horizontal crack that had begun expanding. The homeowner was right to be concerned and our team set to work reinforcing the wall to make sure the wall would not crumble. The team planted power braces deep into the concrete floor and snug against the wall.
Here is a wet, soggy crawl space. You can tell by the insulation sagging with moisture and see the evidence of standing water. We went in and cleaned up the space and did a full encapsulation using CleanSpace for the vapor barrier and using Smart Jacks for post stability. Our customer no longer has to worry about moisture or damage being caused in his crawl space.
